Reception Class have green fingers!
As part of their topic on plants the Reception class planted sunflower seeds at school and in May they took their seedling home, to plant in their garden. Their challenge was to see who could grow the tallest sunflower. They learnt that to make plants grow they need sunshine (no shortage of that here!), water and perhaps even to talk to their plants or even to sing. Victoria sang, talked, fed and watered her sunflower so well that her sunflower grew to 51cm...the tallest of all the reception class.
Well done Victoria!!
