TPS KS2 Sports Weekend? A Raging Success!

Tired but happy our visiting BAE Systems Schools have returned home after a weekend of sports, fun and friendship here at TPS.

Teams of KS2 children from all the BAE schools in Saudi Arabia met here in Tabuk to compete, make friends and camp out!

We were happy to welcome students, teachers and even some parents from Taif, Riyadh and Dhahran.

Here's what they had to say ..

Thanks again for an awesome weekend the kids have not stopped talking about it yet!  Could you also pass on our sincere thanks to Shelley, Sven, Antony, Cheryl and everybody else that made it the successful weekend it was.

Many, many thanks again for such a fantastic weekend. The children haven’t stopped talking about it and they have all come into school today sporting their red t-shirts and medals!

Ella brought her tortoises to school for a visit.

Year 1 have had 2 tortoises visiting them for the past 2 weeks. Ella brought her tortoises to school for a visit and they liked it so much they have stayed!

Year 1 celebrate 100 days in school.

On Sunday 3rd March Year 1 had been in Year 1 for 100 days. We had a special 100 day to celebrate. They brought bags with 100 items; tried to make a domino run using 100 dominoes (which was very hard!); played a game where they had to count how many throws of the die it took to reach 100 on a number grid and baked a cake.
Ella said, 'I wish we could do this every day'!

100 days in School.

Year 1 baked a huge chocolate and vanilla cake and decorated it with 100 m&m's. Ella and Orly helped with the washing up. In the afternoon they shared their cake with the whole school.

Winners of the Year Two Aeroplane Contest

The Year Two Aeroplane Contest is held during the Year Two Science Study of "Forces."  This year the winners are Bailey Sorensen, first place with 9.2m; Rheinallt Jones, second place with 7m; and Finley Senejko-Williams, third place with 6.65m.  The record for Tabuk Primary School still belongs to Tara Nicholls with 16.2m.  Seoras, Jack, Charlie, Leon and Joel also eagerly participated and placed as runners-up! 

The Year Two Aeroplane Contest

The Year Twos are ready to participate in the aeroplane contest.  The contest occurs during their unit on "Forces."
