At the age of
15, whilst ice skating, Chester Greenwood had cold ears.
Result =
earmuffs were invented!
K.I.D. – Kid Inventors’ Day is celebrated on January 17th,
the birth anniversary of Benjamin Franklin, who invented the first swim
flippers almost 300 years ago at age 12.
KS1's homework project was to
design and make a new invention.
Their invention had to be:

something new.

something useful.

something that can be made now or in the future.
·
something that won’t hurt anyone.
·
something sturdy.
