A Midwife Crisis

What fantastic performances we had this year, just like a West End production.  Well done to all the children, their acting, singing and dancing skills were superb.  Thank you to the parents for costume making and to all the staff for their hard work in producing a Midwife Crisis.

Prefect Assembly

Today we learnt about the famous mathematician and inventor, Archimedes.  Archimedes is especially important for his discovery of the relation between the surface and volume of a sphere and its circumscribing cylinder. He is known for his formulation of a hydrostatic principle (known as Archimedes' principle) and a device for raising water, still used in developing countries, known as the Archimides screw.  Thank you Freddie for your very informative talk.

Throw back Thursday

On this day seven years ago the reception class opened the first door on their advent calendar.

Advent in Reception

Reception have opened the first gift on their advent calendar today.

Each day the children take turns to open the snowflakes on the window and choose a surprise book to read.
